File recovery on portable USB flash drives
USB flash recovery involves rescue of damaged or deleted files from popular USB flash drives. You may own one of these drives and recognize it by its ability to actually flash an LED as data is sent or received. Unlike files that are on your computer’s hard drive and when deleted spend a little bit of time in the Windows recycle bin where they can be easily restore from, files deleted from a flash drive or other digital storage such as a camera memory card are not placed in any interim status. This means the area containing that file information is marked as available to rewrite. As long as you do not overwrite that logic area, the original information can easily be restored.
